FeesFees & Rates Summary
Administrative Fees:
Administrative Fee is a case management fee of $200.00 - $400.00 per party which covers case filing, administrative support and case management functions. The administrative fees are payable to REBA/DR in advance with the submission of the case which is a one-time and non-refundable fee.
Hourly Rates:
Hourly Rate is $200.00 per hour/per party for mediation, arbitration and case evaluation sessions. This rate applies to time spent by the Neutral at the ADR Session, including preparation work done by the Neutral in advance of the session, time spent on conference call, documentation review, decision/agreement drafting and necessary follow-up work done by the Neutral after and/or between sessions.
Deposit: Deposit: A 3-Hour prepayment deposit ($600.00 per party) is due two weeks prior to the scheduled session date for reserving the neutrals time.
Cancellation/Postponement Fees: Rescheduling or Cancellation Fees: REBA/DR reserves the right to charge a fee based upon time, expenses and services incurred for cases that are rescheduled or canceled when fewer than three business days’ notice is given if the professional’s reserved time cannot be reassigned.
Travel Time: Travel Time is billed when ADR Session is held anywhere except the REBA/DR Office in Boston. The $50.00 per party/per hour rate applies for non-local sessions and will be discussed in advance.
Additional Fees: Special Fees: For cases involving multiparty or complex issues, special fees may be negotiated. In addition, in disputes where the amount in controversy is less than $5,000.00, special professional fees may be negotiated.
The rates above apply to all ADR services, including Mediation, Arbitration and Case Evaluation.
