Dan Ossoff chairs the real estate practice group at Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster, P.C. His practice concentrates on all aspects of commercial real estate development and finance with an emphasis on land acquisition and disposition, leasing, title and land use planning matters. Mr. Ossoff represents national corporations, non-profit institutions, private developers, institutional lenders and governmental agencies on a wide variety of commercial real estate projects and is experienced in the handling of complex land use planning, title, leasing and financing issues.
He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Colby College and his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School.

Chris Kehoe’s practice emphasizes real estate and finance law and the representation of national and local developers and lenders in the acquisition, financing and development of a variety of projects including condominium construction and conversion, residential subdivisions and shopping centers. He has represented a national developer of assisted living projects in site acquisition, financing, marketing and unit sales. Mr. Kehoe has been involved in multiunit housing projects by developers and large-scale condominium projects from acquisition through documentation and unit sales.
Mr. Kehoe’s practice also includes the analysis and resolution of complex title issues. He is a title insurance agent for seven national title insurers. He is a member of the American Land Title Association (ALTA), the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA) and the real estate sections of the American Bar Association (ABA), the Boston Bar Association (BBA) and the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA).
He received his B.A., cum laude, from St Anselm College and his J.D. from Boston College Law School.
A founding partner of Marsh, Moriarty, Ontell & Golder, P.C., Bob received his undergraduate degree from Boston College in 1972 and his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1975. He concentrates in commercial and residential title matters including review of title abstracts, title reports, title insurance commitments, title certifications, title insurance policies and the resolution of title issues on behalf of title insurance underwriters, law firm clients, developer clients and institutional lenders.
He served on REBA’s Title Standards Committee from 1984 thorough 2003, serving as chair from 1998 through 2003. From 1984 to 1993 he was a member of the Town of Topsfield Planning Board, serving as chair from 1988 through 1993. He presently serves as chair of the Town of Topsfield Zoning Board of Appeals.
A partner in the Westford firm of Balas, Alphen & Santos, P.C., Paul Alphen concentrates in residential and commercial real estate development and land use regulation, administrative law, real estate transactional practice and title examination. He represents national corporations, major regional developers and a wide variety of local concerns. Active in the Westford community, he has served on numerous town committees and is currently the chair of the town’s Highway Garage Building Committee.
He has a BA and an MA from Boston College, a master’s degree in Public Administration from Suffolk University and a JD, cum laude, from the New England School of Law.
A graduate of Boston College Law School, Ed Rainen has concentrated his practice in commercial and residential real estate title matters, as well as conveyancing for more than 25 years. A Land Court Title Examiner, Rainen is also certifying counsel for eight title insurance underwriters. For more than ten years he has taught courses in title examination as part of Northeastern University’s Paralegal professional program. He has lectured or served as a panelist for continuing legal education programs sponsored by the Boston Bar Association (BBA), Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. (MCLE), the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA), the New England Land Title Association (NELTA) and many other groups.
Secretary of State William S. Galvin appointed Ed Rainen to the “Registry Users Advisory Group,” a body established by legislation to assist in modernizing access to land title records.
